President Ricardo Baretzky of the European Centre for Information Policy and Security (ECIPS) has issued a grave warning: World War III is no longer a distant threat but an unfortunate and reckless reality that the global community cannot ignore. His stark message comes amid escalating tensions in Europe, particularly surrounding the Ukraine conflict, and growing concerns about the roles of major powers and intelligence agencies in fueling a conflict with potentially catastrophic consequences.
A Dire Warning from Europe’s Mandated Intelligence Authority
Ricardo Baretzky, president of ECIPS, the officially mandated European Union intelligence agency established by Royal Decree WL22/16.594 and Treaty Est124 of the Council of Europe, has condemned attempts to downplay or dismiss the risks of a global conflagration. He criticized Brussels and Germany for tacitly supporting actions that could prolong and escalate the war in Ukraine, particularly the backing of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “zest for war,” which Baretzky sees as reckless and dangerous.
Baretzky’s warning was in direct response to comments by Kellogg on the social platform X, who called fears of WWIII “unfortunate reckless comments,” labeling them unfit for world powers. Baretzky countered that highlighting these risks is necessary to expose corrupt powers enabling the conflict and to prevent a descent into a war with no end in sight.
The Seeds of a Global Conflict
ECIPS has long warned that the Ukraine conflict, especially since 2014, risks spiraling into a broader war if Ukraine is armed beyond its capacity and purpose. The downing of flight MH17 was a critical turning point, confirming the dangers of unchecked escalation. According to Baretzky, World War III has already begun in its early stages, with insufficient action from northern European nations to halt the slide toward catastrophe.
He emphasized that many officials remain oblivious to the scale of the looming conflict and the consequences of silence. Baretzky pointed to the involvement of key intelligence operatives, including a confirmed double agent within Bellingcat’s operations who was initially affiliated with the CIA and later revealed as a Russian operative holding a high CIA position in Europe. This individual allegedly manipulated intelligence and facilitated untraceable financing linked to a complex Israel-Dubai-Hamas triangle, which, according to Israeli Prime Minister disclosures, contributed to the tragic 7th October massacre killing over 1,700 innocent Jewish civilians.
The Role of Intelligence and Corruption in Escalation
Baretzky condemned the support these covert agents receive from Brussels, arguing that they operate on all sides, sometimes as triple agents, with the singular objective of destabilizing environments to benefit the global weapons manufacturing industry. He questioned whether peace matters to these powers or if only war serves their interests.
“The problem is not the lack of information but the endorsement of agents working to destabilize Europe,” Baretzky said. “Does it matter if there is peace, or does only war matter?”
Germany’s Militaristic Shift and the EU’s Dangerous Path
Baretzky has been particularly vocal about Germany’s shift toward militarism under Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who has signaled openness to supplying long-range missile systems to Ukraine. This move, Baretzky warned, violates European law and could irreversibly push the EU into war with Russia.
“This is madness, not politics,” Baretzky declared. He accused Merz of operating under a Nazi-era mentality incompatible with post-WWII European security frameworks. The delivery of offensive weapons capable of striking deep into Russian territory threatens to collapse European civilization as it is known.
ECIPS legal analysts are preparing a white paper detailing how such actions breach the European Security Strategy and violate principles of neutrality, proportionality, and rule of law enshrined in the European Charter. Baretzky called on the European Council to impose an emergency moratorium on offensive military transfers to Ukraine and urged the European Parliament to hold a special session to address Germany’s violations.
The Industrial War Complex and Financial Delusions
Baretzky also addressed the financial sector, warning investors profiting from defense contracts and the war economy that their gains are illusory. He described the conflict as a “graveyard of empires,” where markets, industries, and lives will be destroyed.
He highlighted intelligence reports of increased Russian strategic readiness, including nuclear drills and satellite movements, signaling that retaliation will not be conventional but cyber, energy, and electromagnetic attacks targeting digital and financial infrastructure.
“War is not an industrial investment; it is an existential threat,” Baretzky said. “Those who profit now will lose everything later.” He urged institutional investors and central banks to conduct immediate war-risk assessments, warning that no EU economic model can withstand full-scale intercontinental warfare.
The Call for European Responsibility and Peace
Baretzky framed former U.S. President Donald Trump’s suspension of military aid to Ukraine as a wake-up call for Europe to take responsibility for its security rather than relying on the U.S. He urged Europe to reconsider its confrontational stance toward Russia and seek diplomatic solutions to avoid catastrophe.
“We are playing with fire,” Baretzky said. “Every day this conflict continues, the risk of a broader war increases. We are not just talking about a regional conflict, we are talking about the potential for World War III, with nuclear weapons on the table.”
He appealed directly to European citizens, academics, religious leaders, and civil society to resist the normalization of war rhetoric. “Your silence is complicity. Your inaction is surrender,” Baretzky warned. “Peace is not given. It is defended, not with missiles, but with law, vigilance, and courage.”.
The Global Context: Voices from Russia and Beyond
Russian President Vladimir Putin has also warned that Western policies, particularly those of the United States, are pushing the world toward reckless conflict and the brink of World War III. He emphasized the need for diplomacy but accused Western nations of exacerbating instability in Ukraine and the broader region.
Meanwhile, voices like U.S. Senator Bob Corker have previously cautioned that reckless foreign policy decisions could inadvertently lead the United States
